Musculoskeletal · The Objective Standard

A blood test for how you
move.

The first fully remote, wearable-free musculoskeletal exam of its kind — turning how a body actually moves into objective, clinical-grade data. A baseline you can measure against, and real improvement you can prove.

Why Objective Assessment Matters

Replacing subjective exams with measurable truth.

Traditional musculoskeletal assessment varies by examiner, environment, effort, and documentation quality. Function is the last major domain in medicine still assessed subjectively, randomly, and primitively.

Quantified

Movement, not estimates

Range of motion measured to a tenth of a degree — not eyeballed, not guessed, not recalled by the patient a week later.

Repeatable

The same test, every time

Standardized baseline and follow-up measurements, scored identically — which is what makes results comparable across a population and over time.

Defensible

Findings that hold up

Objective documentation for clinical, employer, insurer, and medico-legal decisions — where narrative notes alone have never been enough.

The Platform

Meet Jessica — a clinical-grade assessment from any phone or computer.

An objective measurement of a participatory test: repeatable, standardized, and completely wearable-free. No special software to install. Performed wherever the patient is.

  • Pain Mapping — a natural conversation captures the full history of discomfort.
  • Clinical Intake — voice-enabled dialogue records structured clinical answers.
  • Movement Capture — camera-based range of motion, measured to a tenth of a degree.

Core Capabilities

A complete objective MSK toolkit.

Range of Motion

Every major joint

Objective cervical, lumbar, shoulder, hip, knee, and extremity motion measurement against unit-aware target windows.

Gait & Posture

How the body carries itself

AI-supported movement observation for gait pattern, posture, balance, and asymmetry.

Functional Capacity

Impairment to real life

Movement tasks and functional patterns that connect measured impairment to real-world ability.

Progress Tracking

Proof, not impressions

Baseline and follow-up comparisons that objectively measure response to treatment — in weeks, not months.

Medico-Legal

Defensible reporting

Findings built to withstand scrutiny in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and impairment contexts.

Virtual

Anywhere there's a camera

Remote capture enables hybrid and fully virtual assessment workflows, with no wearables and no clinic visit.

Smart Data

Clinically structured reports that redirect spend.

Each movement measured against unit-aware target windows, with status flags — within range or below target — that surface risk at a glance.

Assessment

Head-to-toe MSK

Complete clinical summary of the whole musculoskeletal picture.

ROM Report

Range of motion

Isolated measurements & deviations from target.

Oswestry

Disability scoring

Standardized scoring, comparable across a population.

Custom

Any stakeholder

User-defined sections for employers, payers, or work-comp.

Consistent, reproducible output — the same assessment, scored the same way, every time. That consistency is what makes it comparable across a population and over time.

The Line That Defines Us
The AI measures. The physician diagnoses and directs care. The next assessment proves whether it worked.

Every flagged result is reviewed by a credentialed MSK physician, who makes the diagnosis and directs care. This is the regulatory posture, not just the product — the platform measures and structures; licensed physicians diagnose and treat.

Early Evidence

Every measured outcome moved in the right direction.

70 patients, paired baseline and follow-up structured assessments under guided corrective care — generated inside a working pain practice.

−48%

Average pain severity · 5.97 → 3.08 VAS

−76%

Movements that provoke pain · 64% → 15%

+15%

Range of motion, all joints · 71.3° → 81.7°

0 / 70

Patients whose pain worsened

An Honest Read on the Evidence

A 70-patient case series — a strong directional signal, not a powered trial. ROM improvement reached statistical significance (p = 0.013); pain reduction trended toward it (p = 0.073). 39% of tracked pain sites resolved completely; zero worsened. An independent test-retest reliability study is underway to convert this signal into publishable validation. We publish what the data shows, including where it falls short.

Reporting Applications

Built for clinical, employer, insurer & legal clarity.

Objective reporting gives every stakeholder a clearer view of injury severity, functional loss, treatment progress, and recovery status.

Personal injury

Objective documentation of impairment and functional loss.

Workers' compensation

Claim-duration management and return-to-work planning, with consistency flags for variances that can’t be medically explained.

Treatment progress

Clinical tracking across an episode of care, measured rather than described.

Pre / post comparison

Procedure or therapy outcomes, proven against the patient’s own baseline.

Functional capacity

Impairment support grounded in measurement.

Remote monitoring

Longitudinal follow-up for hybrid and virtual care models.
